FORMS AND COLOURS

Jorge Craven-Bartle

Self-taught Anglo-Spanish painter, born in Jerez de la Frontera, Spain, in 1953, where he has lived until a year ago, now residing in Kidlington, Oxfordshire.

His figurative stage has mainly been inspired by the Andalucian scenery. Its nearby beaches, wheat fields, flowers and urban scenes constitute the main themes of his works.

An admirer of Paul Klee and Jackson Pollock, he closely follows their steps, taking a direct turn to “action painting”, where he feels at ease and creative, asserting a very personal touch to all his works.

He loves pure and bright colours as well as curved shapes, and his works may fit in all sort of environments, whether domestic or professionals.

His works are offered at extremely fair prices in order to allow him as he mentions "to generate sufficient funds to enable him to continue painting".

"Forms and colours" as he chose to name his web page, is an extensive exhibition into the diversity of styles which he likes to explore.
